Your First Visit to Our Raleigh Practice
Welcome to Atlas Chiropractic of Raleigh!
Congratulations, you made the decision to consult with Dr. Boccella! There is absolutely nothing to be nervous or anxious about. You should allow about 90 minutes for this appointment and be prepared to focus on your health concerns during your consultation and examination.
Paperwork and Video
When you enter our office, you will be greeted with a friendly smile from Kristy. She will collect your completed Health History paperwork, insurance information (if you have any) and request a copy of your ID. She will show you a 2 minute orientation video and then escort you to our state of the art examination/radiography room. Kristy will ask you to change into one of our stylish exam gowns.
Consultation and Examination with Dr. John S. Boccella
You will meet Dr. Boccella and discuss all of your health concerns at this point. He will begin your painless and non-invasive chiropractic examination including postural assessment and measuring leg length equality as well as taking any necessary digital radiographs (x-rays). Gwen will finish your detailed examination using the Insight Subluxation Station computer. We will measure muscle symmetry, range of motion, spinal heat patterns and more.
After your completed examination, you will be escorted back to Kristy to schedule your next appointment (Report of Findings). This is when Dr. Boccella will discuss the results of your examination and make a treatment recommendation. However, he may make a rare exception and begin treatment immediately.
