When I hobbled into your office five days after giving birth to my beautiful daughter, Savannah, I felt like I would never walk normal again. My problems began several weeks before delivery and only got worse after Savannah was born. I was nursing and unwilling to take the narcotics, and physical therapy was having no positive effects. My mother swears by her chiropractor. So when I decided to get a referral from her chiropractor, I discovered my "newest family" at Atlas Chiropractic and Wellness Center.
Within one week, I was able to get around my house, drive a car, and care for my daughter. All of which were impossible prior to seeing Dr. John [Boccella]. I have come a long way since those days in late May 1997, but I still have a long way to go. Due to my positive results, I asked Dr. John [Boccella] to examine my daughter, Savannah. She had colic, which often resulted in long periods of inconsolable crying. With only a few adjustments, we noticed a remarkable improvement in her colic. The changes were so dramatic that we can now tell when she is in need of an adjustment just by the changes in her behavior.
During my visits to Dr. John [Boccella], my husband, Adam, began to complain of low back pain. With a lot of cajoling, I convinced Adam to make an appointment to see Dr. John [Boccella]. Adam came from the old school, and chiropractic care was a bunch of "hooey". However, after only a few visits Adam was won over by the positive effects of chiropractic care.
So here we are, a family convinced of the positive effects of chiropractic care and dedicated to staying on this path to a healthy long life. I thank everyone at Atlas Chiropractic and Wellness Center for their willing ness to help, their compassion, and their genuine interest in their patients. You make us feel welcome and comfortable.
