What health problems/symptoms/ailments brought you to Atlas Chiropractic & Wellness Center?
- Excessive lingering migraines from January 11 to March 30, 2001
- Stiffness and muscle pain throughout body
- Swelling of neck glands
- Constant and excruciating pain
- Hospitalized four times since 1977 and diagnosed with "probable viral meningitis"
- Doctors could never determine exact cause or diagnosis
How long had you been suffering, and how severe was the problem(s)?
- Persistent since 1977 and again in 1980, 1994, 1998
- Hospitalized in 1998 - unconscious for 13-14 days
- Medication covered-up the problems but did not fix anything
To what extent was your health and normal life interrupted due to the problem(s)? What activities were you unable to do that you enjoyed?
- No normal life, day by day, canceled plans due to pain or migraines
- One period in particular was December 1994 (after hospitalization), my "normal" life was a struggle to go to work, only to return home and be in bed by 7:00 PM just to be able to get up for work again the following day
- I lived like this until June 1995
- Medial doctors and specialists told me "there is nothing wrong with you"
How has your health and daily life changed since beginning chiropractic care?
- Progressing to normal life and routine - to include gardening, tennis, biking, walking, roadtrips with friends - I have a "real life" again!
