What health problems/symptoms/ailments brought you to Atlas Chiropractic & Wellness Center?
Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, constant headaches, chronic rhinitus/sinusitis, depression, nervousness, irritability, digestive problems, arthritis, chest pain, immune system problems, memory
I was listening to a Christian radio station - WYFM 92.5 FM in Raleigh when I heard about upper cervical care, I prayed about it and called to get the packet of information listing doctors in this area.
How long had you been suffering, and how severe was the problem(s)?
Problems steadily became worse over 10-year period until I became disabled - unable to work over last 4 years. Despite my strong faith in God, I contemplated suicide - feeling useless and hopeless.
To what extent was your health and normal life interrupted due to the problem(s)? What activities were you unable to do that you enjoyed?
Driving was affected due to memory impairment. I became lost on my way to a doctor's office or other errands. I was accustomed to going same places and previously enjoyed driving but my fatigue and overall pain, etc rendered me judgment impaired. Reactions and reflexes very slow, etc. Energy level accompanied with constant pain left me feeling withdrawn, housebound, frustrated and afraid. my life became very limited to the point of hopelessness.
How has your health and daily life changed since beginning chiropractic care?
Chest pain has disappeared. Breathing is improving. Movement is easier. Hopeful outlook - looking forward to returning to work in future. Praising God for leading me to receiving medical care based on correcting the problem vs. medicating the symptoms.
