What health problems/symptoms/ailments brought you to Atlas Chiropractic & Wellness Center?
Discomfort in my lower back area on the left side. Mostly it was aggravated from standing for long periods of time and occasionally when lifting objects.
How long had you been suffering, and how severe was the problem(s)?
I originally hurt it over a year ago, but it went away. It started back up about 6 or 7 months ago, but it was not quite as bad and I hoped it would go away on it's own, but it didn't. So I came to see Dr. John [Boccella] about 2 or 3 months ago.
To what extent was your health and normal life interrupted due to the problem(s)? What activities were you unable to do that you enjoyed?
I was able to keep doing my normal stuff, the pain wasn't unbearable. But now that I'm pregnant, I knew it would only get worse and new problems would be developing.
How has your health and daily life changed since beginning chiropractic care?
After my first few weeks of treatment, my pain was completely gone. I thought it was just temporary and I was waiting for it to come back, but it has not. It's great to be able to get through my day without going home in pain. I've also become better aware of my posture and how I stand. That has had a lot to do with keeping me "in alignment."
