To Whom It May Concern:
I am in receipt of your letter regarding the fact that Allstate is only paying a third of the medical bills submitted by Atlas Chiropractic & Wellness Center, and I must state that I am appalled by this action. Dr. John Boccella of Atlas Chiropractic & Wellness Center has done wonders to get my neck and back, severely injured in the car accident, back to where I can at least function.
Prior to seeing Dr. Boccella, I had endured several visits to the hospital for MRI's, muscle injections, and therapy without any success in curing my pain and suffering. Payment for these non-chiropractic treatments were covered, less my 20% deductible, by my company's HMO insurer.
Of course, ht HMO insurer does not cove chiropractic treatments, and now, my only other recourse to get my chiropractic bills taken care of is from the Allstate insurance policy, which I have been paying about $800 per year for twelve years plus without a single claim. But, you are telling me that I am not "in good hands" when I need your help!
I guess I will need to take this situation up with a lawyer if Allstate will not stand behind their word and my insurance policy.
I would appreciate a quick response to try and settle this situation in a timely manner.
